What is TRE
and how can it benefit you?

TRE is a set of simple exercises to release stress and trauma in the body. It was introduced by David Berceli who noted, when he was in a war zone, that children appeared to have the same response to acute stress - shaking. Yet the adults tended to hold the sress in, in a bid to be brave for themselves and the children. 
He also saw this shaking occur naturally in anaimals - and concluded that this was a natural resource that we tend to lose as we get older. OUr western culture requires that we hold it in, put on a face, appear 'together', so we push down that stress.
When we push it down, we are pushing down our natural, innate responsesand that stress tends to stay in the body which can damage us - poor health, illness, lethargy, heightened vigilance, emotionally dysregulated. As time goes on , the battle to remain in control of our lives may begin to feel bigger. This is because our body is pushing you tto take note and release some of this stress, allowing us to fully integrate our past.
STress does not have to be a major event, it can be a series of small events that build up over time. Think of a sticky stone getting bigger as it builds traction and ends up picking up everything along the way. That is how stress is in our body. A healthier option would be to release the stone, as opposed to constantly trying to accept it/run from it/push it down.

TRE is a modality that is all about the body and it's responses. It is not a talking therapy - it taps into your own innate healing response through tremoring. It is noting the sensations, allowing the tension to move through you so that you can find or return to, the home inside of you. It is a safe, fun and relaxing way of returning to optimal health.
TRE is suitable for anyone. If you have had surgery/broken bones, we advise that you wait 6 weeks before booking an appointment.

TRE seeks to return your body to equilibrium by regulating your nervous system.
